Work has now started on machining the numerous new lubrication fittings that are required.

I was recently asked for some drawings for the reverser on Std 2-6-0 78018. This reverser is similar to that on 46428 and some components on both are the same. One drawing I did not have was the drive for the indicator, which is an LMS one. The indicator is moved by chains similar to those on a bike. I was able to retreive the chain tensioning plate off 46428 and draw it up prior to making a replacement.

I  recently acqiured a Stanier vertical whistle at a Railwayana auction. This is suitable for use on 46428.
